Senior Anna Martorell is the Community Bank/GoBonnies.com Athlete of the Week for the period that ended October 14. In her final match of the fall, the Spanish international posted an unblemished record in her lone singles and doubles action against Mercyhurst. Martorell posted a 6-0, 6-3 victory over the Lakers' Elizabeth Mullane in fifth singles play and paired with freshman Maria Barousse to defeat Mullane and Kelton Macke 8-3 in third doubles. Heading into the spring season, Martorell is undefeated in her previous three singles and doubles matches and holds a 3-2 record in both events.
