CINCINNATI, Ohio -
The St. Bonaventure men's and women's tennis teams both dropped matches to Xavier on Sunday afternoon at the Western Tennis and Fitness Club as the men fell 5-0, while the women dropped a 4-0 result.
Both teams failed to capture a single set against the Musketeers as Xavier was victorious in all 12 singles and six doubles matches. Seven sets didn't finish as the Musketeers already garnered enough points to seal the win.
With the loss, the men dropped their second straight contest to fall to 3-6 during the spring. The women's side was shutout for the third consecutive match as they have lost their last seven to fall to 0-7 in the spring.
The men return to action on Friday, March 14 when George Washington visits the Bonnies, while the women travel to Pittsburgh to take on Duquesne on Saturday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m.
