Brown and White drop a pair of matches on Saturday

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure women's tennis team dropped a pair of home matches on Saturday, Feb. 9 as Albany and Youngstown State each departed the SBU Indoor courts with a victory over the Brown and White. With the two losses over the weekend, the Bonnies fall to 0-3 in the spring after picking up three straight wins to conclude the fall campaign. Albany opened the day with a 7-0 result over the Bonnies as the home club failed to notch a single victory throughout all three doubles and six singles sets. In their second match of the afternoon, Bona posted three points against Youngstown State before falling 4-3 to the Penguins. The Bonnies fared well early against Youngstown State by capturing a pair of wins in doubles to take a one-point advantage. Senior Anna Perevenzetseva and junior Yolande Callaghan posted an 8-2 win to start the match followed by a default win to clinch the point. The Brown and White will return to action on Sunday, Feb. 17 when the Bonnies travel to Hamilton, N.Y. to take on Colgate at 1:00 p.m. St. Bonaventure vs. Albany - L, 7-0
