Sophomore Katelyn Faas is the Community Bank / GoBonnies.com Athlete of the Week for the period that ended April 22. Faas scored 13 goals and dished out two assists during a 3-0 week for the Bonnies and was named the Player of the Week by the Atlantic 10. In St. Bonaventure's April 22 win over UMass, Faas tallied three scores including her 100th career goal, making her just the sixth player in program history to do so. Earlier in the week against Binghamton, she poured in a season-high nine points on seven goals and two assists. Faas then scored her seventh hat trick of the season to help lead St. Bonaventure to its first-ever win over Temple. The West Henrietta, N.Y., native leads the A-10 in goals per game (3.7) and is tops among the Bona goal scorers with 45. Faas has scored at least three goals in each game during the Bonnies' seven-game win streak. She has led the Bonnies to their first 5-0 start in A-10 by scoring 21 goals over that span.
