Freshman Cara Gustafson is the Community Bank/GoBonnies.com Athlete of the Week for the period ending February 18 after scoring the game-winning points in a historic victory over nationally ranked George Washington.

Against the #13/14 ranked Colonials, Gustafson filled up the stat sheet with seven points, five rebounds and two steals, including the game's final three points to snap a 26-game losing streak to George Washington.

The Omaha, Nebraska native also tallied a career-high seven rebounds in a 69-66 win earlier in the week at Duquesne to help the Brown and White earn their first Atlantic 10 series sweep since 2003-04.

Gustafson has started the first three games of her young career in the Bonnies' last three contests.

The Bonnies return to action on Sunday, Feb. 24 when Saint Louis visits Bob Lanier Court at the Reilly Center for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off.
