Snake Eyes - Entry 2
Jan. 2, 2007 Man, it's been a while so I'll try to get you guys caught up to speed. Since our loss to Bowling Green we have been playing like a team possessed. We've won our last five games, pulling off of comeback win at Fairleigh Dickinson and a win against Michigan at Ann Arbor. Good stuff. After that game we got a chance to go home and celebrate the holiday. I got a chance to see some of my closest friends (M-O was goodie?) and family. Christmas was cool. I got some nice stuff, including my favorite ... SHOES! The best part for me had to be spending some quality time with the family and sleeping in my own bed! After we returned from our mini vacation we prepared to continue our never-ending road trip (seven-straight away games). Since the beginning of the year one of our focuses was to get better on the road and I finally think were getting the hang of it. We ended up winning the Wagner Holiday Tourney beating Cornell and then Rider in the championship. That brought our record in December to 6-1 (not to Shabby) and tied our win total of last season (9-5). Dana a.k.a. the Great Dane picked up MVP honors for the tournament and I was able to slither my way on to the All-Tournament team. Speaking of the Great Danes (Albany) they're our next opponent. Were hoping to start the year 2007 off the way we ended 2006 ... with a W! I think we can as long as we keep our focus. Other than that everything else is groovy. I FINALLY have a positive assist to turnover ratio...yes! While I was home I had a chance to hear some new music. Ciara's new CD is hot and it's currently playing on my ipod. I haven't caught much TV lately but any Law and Order is poppin and "I love New York" comes out soon. I can't wait for that. Well, I think I covered everything. Again, sorry for the hold up I promise to stay on top of the entries in the 07!
