Senior Alejandro Nery is the Community Bank/GoBonnies.com Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sept. 10. The All-Conference senior won the No. 1 singles flight in last weekend's SBU Fall Classic.

In Sunday's final, he defeated Niagara's Walter Garcia in a thrilling three-set decision, 6-7 (6), 6-3, 7-6 (5). Nery finished unbeaten in singles play in the Classic.
