Junior Alejandro Nery is the GoBonnies.com/Community Bank Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 19. Nery led the Bonnies to a pair of road wins over Atlantic 10 opponents last weekend. The Venezuela native went undefeated in both singles and doubles matched. Playing at No. 1 singles, Nery defeated Xavier's Oliver Marinkovic 6-4, 7-5 on March 17, then posted a 6-3, 6-4 win over Tom Murphy of the University of Dayton on March 18. Nery and partner Victor Lecina went 2-0 in doubles in the matches against Xavier and Dayton. Thanks in large part to Nery's leadership, St. Bonaventure has now won three straight matches against A-10 opponents.
