PRINCETON, N.J. -
Junior Leo Mochizuki's run at the 2007 Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional came to an end in the round of 32 on Sunday morning as he fell to seventh-seeded Brendan Lynch in straight sets.
Lynch, Penn State's top singles player, defeated Mochizuki 6-3, 6-3 to advance to the round of 16. Later in the afternoon, Lynch was upset by Dartmouth's Mark Brodie in an attempt to advance to the quarterfinals.
Mochizuki is the first Bonnies to advance through two rounds in the Regional Main Draw since Mario Arce in 2004.
The tournament caps St. Bonaventure's fall season. The Bonnies will return to action in the spring, starting on Feb. 2 when they host Cleveland State.
