Men's Tennis upended at Army

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure men's tennis team began its final weekend of regular season play with a 5-2 loss at Army on Saturday morning.

The Brown and White have dropped five straight matches and have won last tune-up before heading to Monroeville, Pa. next weekend for the Atlantic 10 Tournament. The Bonnies will head to Penn State on Sunday for a 3 p.m. match.

The team's two points came in singles play as sophomore Diego Valdenegro and freshman Enric Larregola recorded victories at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively. Valdenegro defeated Tripp Johnson in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. Larregola also handled Jordan Girdley in two sets, 6-3, 6-3.
