5/4/08 Strong final round results in sixth place finish for Bonnies at Atlantic 10 Championship They say a team should be a direct reflection of its head coach. In Sunday's final round of the Atlantic 10 Championship at Orange County National Golf Center, St. Bonaventure was exactly that, as it showed the hard work and determination of its leader Steve Campbell. Striding the par 72, 6,882-yard Panther Lake Course along side Campbell for the final time, the Bonnies sent their coach out in style with their best round of the weekend and the second-best round of the day with a four-under par 284 to finish in sixth place on Sunday. 5/3/08 Reverse fortune has Bona golf in sixth place after round two at A-10s Saturday's second round of the Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championships at Orange County National Golf Center was a complete reversal from yesterday's opening round for St. Bonaventure as it capped the opening 36 holes in sixth place with one round remaining. The Bonnies, again, will be paired with Xavier and Richmond for Sunday's final 18 holes. The trio of teams will tee-off at 8 a.m. on holes 6-10. (more)
5/2/08 Golf tied for fifth after first day of Atlantic 10 Championships Thanks to strong play on the front nine of Panther Lake Golf Course at Orange County National Golf Center, the St. Bonaventure golf team finished its opening round of the Atlantic 10 Championships on Friday with a team score of four-over par 293, good for a tie for fifth place. St. Bonaventure will be paired with fourth-place Xavier and fellow fifth-place member Richmond in Saturday's second round. The trio of teams will tee-off at 8 a.m. on holes 6-10. (more)
