Junior Andy Whalen is the GoBonnies.com/Community Bank N.A. Athlete of the Week for the period ending Oct. 1. Whalen enjoyed a superb seven days as led St. Bonaventure to a win in the Leo Keenan Invitational Sept. 24-25 and a runner-up showing in the 15-team Cornell Big Red Fall Invitational Sept. 30-Oct. 1.

The Conklin, N.Y., native placed third at Cornell with a one-over par total of 217 on rounds of 73, 74 and 70. Whalen tied for eighth place in St. Bonaventure's Keenan Invitational at 71-74/145 (+5).
