Junior-to-be Ryan Swanson is the Community Bank / GoBonnies.com Athlete of the Week after he won the title of the Southwest New York-Northwestern Pennsylvania Men's Amateur Match Play Golf Championship on Aug. 6 at Bartlett Country Club in Olean. Swanson won five matches to accomplish the grueling task, including a 3-and-1 decision over John Forrest in the 36-hole final. Swanson's summer has also included a win in the Chautauqua County Amateur and a trip to the second round of the New York State Amateur.
