ANNAPOLIS, Md. - St. Bonaventure is in eighth place out of 15 teams going into Saturday's final round of the Navy Spring Invitational at the Naval Academy Golf Course.

The Bonnies put together a consistent team effort in Friday's first round with all of their scores between 74 and 76. Sophomore Ryan Swanson was the low man with a three-over 74. Junior Ben Howe came in at 75 while Josh Anderson, Brennan Payne and Andy Whalen all shot 76.

Host Navy leads the tournament at 289 (+5) by one shot over George Washington. The Bonnies have a one-shot advantage over Bucknell in a tightly bunched field.

The tournament will conclude on Saturday.
