WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - St. Bonaventure is tied for fifteenth place out of 22 teams after a cold and windy first round of the William and Mary Invitational at Kingsmill Resort.

The Bonnies shot a 305 behind senior Josh Anderson, who posted a two-under-par 69. Anderson finished the day in a three-way tie for first, while the Bonnies landed in a four-way tie for fifteenth place with Dayton, Boston College and Towson.

Freshman Brennan Payne and sophomore Andy Whalen finished the day at 77 and 78, respectively. Sophomore Ryan Swanson stroked an 81 to round out the Bonnies' four-man score.

The Bonnies are six strokes behind fifth-place St. Joseph's (299) and 13 strokes behind first-place Liberty University (292).

Weather reports have called for 1-3 inches of snow in the Williamsburg area tomorrow and a final decision whether or not to play will be made by 8 a.m. Tuesday - the scheduled tee-off time for the tournament's second round.
