Dave Moore was named an assistant coach at St. Bonaventure in April 2007. Moore is responsible for player development and all individual training sessions. Moore was an assistant under head coach Mark Schmidt at Robert Morris last season. There, he helped the Colonials to a 17-13 record. Prior to Robert Morris, Moore spent three years as an assistant varsity boy's basketball coach at Lakota East High School in West Chester, Ohio. In 2005, Lakota East posted an 18-3 record and won the Cincinnati City Championship. From 2000-02, Moore served as an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tenn., specializing in game preparation. He also recruited the Memphis, Nashville, Cincinnati and New Orleans areas and served as the program's academic tutor. Between 1998 and 2000, Moore served was an assistant coach at the College of Mount Saint Joseph, an NCAA Division III institution in Cincinnati, Ohio. Moore got his start in college coaching as an assistant at his alma mater, Bethel (Tenn.) College. A 1998 graduate, he earned a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in secondary education. A four-year letter-winner as a guard at Bethel, Moore served as team captain during the 1996-97 season and led the club in both three-pointers and assists. Moore earned a master's degree in education from Christian Brothers in 2002. COACHING CAREER
