ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure baseball senior outfielder Randy Moley has been recognized in the "Faces of the Crowd" feature of the May 12, 2008 issue of Sports Illustrated that hit newsstands on Thursday.

The feature can be found on page 28 of this week's issue that has New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul and San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker on the cover. The on-line version of the feature can be viewed at www.si.com/faces.

Moley is in the midst of one of the best statistical seasons in program history in his final campaign in the Brown and White. The Lancaster, N.Y. product leads the Atlantic 10 and entered the week fourth in the nation with a .429 batting average. Moley has already set the single-season record for hits in a season with 73 while leading the team in nearly every offensive category including runs scored (50), doubles (17), home runs (6), RBI (51), slugging percentage (.635), on-base percentage (.510) and stolen bases.

It's been a year of milestones for Moley, who earlier this month became the fifth player in program history to go over 200 career hits. Moley began the season on a 20-game hit streak that dated back four games into the 2007 season. Through 44 games this year, Moley has a hit in 35 contests, including 24 multi-hit performances and a school single-game record six against Boston College on March 1. Moley ranks in the top five all-time in Bonaventure history in hits (202), runs (126) and doubles (43).

Moley and the Bonnies will be back in action tomorrow as they began a crucial three-game Atlantic 10 series against Saint Joseph's. First pitch in the city of "Brotherly Love" is set for 3:30 p.m.
