Baseball junior Brian Pellegrini is the GoBonnies.com/Community Bank Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 25. Pellegrini went 12-for-25 at the dish during a 3-3 week for St. Bonaventure. During the six games he racked up three doubles, one homerun, five runs scored and 8 RBI. In a doubleheader at Niagara, Pellegrini went 5-for-7 with a pair of doubles and 3 RBI. He crushed his eighth homer of the season, a two-run blast, in game two against Buffalo on Wednesday. On the season, Pellegrini leads the team with a .405 batting average, 30 runs, 45 hits, 12 doubles, eight homeruns and 37 RBI.
