The St. Bonaventure Athletic Fund (BAF), is the fund-raising organization for the Department of Athletics at St. Bonaventure University. It is the mission and purpose of the BAF to generate support for SBU's 14
intercollegiate athletic programs, while providing our student-athletes the opportunity to develop academically and athletically.
As a member of the nationally-recognized Atlantic 10 Conference, St. Bonaventure coaches and student-athletes strive each day to achieve greatness for this institution. This cannot be possible without YOU! You can be an integral part of building futures for promising student-athletes at St. Bonaventure. Your support will enable us to improve facilities, provide first-class academic resources and breed athletic success, while attracting the best student-athletes to Bona's.

BAF Giving Options
Each year alumni and friends of St. Bonaventure make a variety of gifts in support of Bonnies Athletics. Various contribution options exist. A donor to the BAF can make the gift that best suits his or her personal preference.
CASH GIFTS
The most common gift to St. Bona Athletics is an unrestricted cash gift. These contributions provide the annual
financial resources necessary to operate St. Bona’s athletic program. A cash gift can also be restricted to a sport or athletic support area of the donor’s choice.
CREDIT CARD GIFTS
The BAF currently accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. This gift option enables the donor to
make a pledge and fulfill the gift on a monthly or quarterly basis throughout the year. When choosing this option, please remember to include account number, expiration date and donor signature.
BONA-MATIC BANK DRAFT
This method of payment is a debit system which spreads your gift over a time period by arranging for an automatic withdrawal from your checking account each month. After the initiation of your gift, you will receive confirmation of the monthly withdrawals on your bank statements.
MATCHING GIFTS
Matching gifts from your employer/business accompany your cash gift. If your company participates in a matching
gift program, you can receive credit in the BAF for the total contribution. This method will increase your gift
impact and increase your membership level and benefits. For more information, contact your company’s personnel

IN-KIND GIFTS
Donations of goods or services are also valuable means of support. These types of donations typically consist of items that would normally be purchased through the annual athletic budget. Credit toward membership is
based on the fair market value of the trade-out.
OTHER GIVING OPTIONS
Other BAF giving options include endowed gifts, scholarships, real estate, will bequests, life insurance policies, stocks or securities. For more information, contact the Associate Director of Athletics at (716) 375-2283.
