5/12/2008 - Baseball St. Bonaventure freshman shortstop Jesse Bosnik has been named the Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week for the period ending May 12, announced by the league office Monday afternoon. Bosnik enjoyed a solid weekend series at Saint Joseph's, recording two hits in all three games. He is one of three players to start all 47 games this season and has 10 multi-hit games. more

Bonnies take deciding game at Saint Joseph's The St. Bonaventure baseball team moved a game closer to clinching a berth in this month's Atlantic 10 Tournament with its 15-11 series-clinching win over Saint Joseph's on Sunday afternoon at Latshaw-McCarthy Field. The win moves the Bonnies to 13-11 in the A-10 and puts them at least two games up on a quartet of teams that are also vying for the sixth and final postseason bid. more
Sotak signs pro contract to play in Iceland Just one day away from graduating from St. Bonaventure with a degree in psychology and a double-minor in Spanish and business administration, senior women's soccer student-athlete Kristin Sotak has decided to extend her career, signing a contract to play professional soccer in Iceland. Sotak will play for Fjolnir FC, which participates in the Icelandic Premier League that consists of 10 teams. Fjolnir FC is located in a suburban area of Iceland's capital, Reykjavik. more
